I'd rather have Brook Lopez. I've been trying to get him before he turns it around, but it's not working out. I would be VERY surprised to see him keep up this terrible production all year long. But, I guess it's possible. He's just too solid to do that IMO.
Yeah I would much rather have brook lopez. I think he is a big buy low candidate right now. (Thats a bit of a preview to my article for next week on my blog.) His rebounds have to come up being the big guy on that team. And Lopez will get you blocks unlike Randolph.
lopez is in a slump but still the better option at c in the long run. less competition for touches and more chance for improvement. randolph wont block alot but has consistant rebounding totals. if your team is hurting for rebounds, i'd lean toward zach, other than that, lopez is still better.
Lopez has been playing like crap so far this year... I thought I got a steal when I landed him 3rd round in a league. I agree that Randolph doesn't do much except score and rebound.
At this point, I'm not sure which I would rather have. It's unclear if Lopez will actually turn it around since he hasn't had any breakout games. He seems a lot more hesitant this year with contact, which is why his FG% is down and his boards are down.
On the other hand, Randolph is in a contract year so I expect strong "Randolph" numbers for the rest of the year.
