Default Gordon?

Ben Gordon started last night and looked solid. He played well as a starter in the limited games he had the chance to do so this year. It's unclear if he's going to start some more games or if Rip will get the spot back.

Is it worth gambling on him? I would need to drop Daniel Gibson for him, who just had a monster game last night himself but hasn't been that great as a starter so far.

Grab Gordon he has way more upside than Gibson.

Default Re: Gordon?

I'd actually stay put and ride out this Gibson thing. Gibson's shot attempts are wayyy up, and he hits threes/steals/dimes enough with his scoring that he's become incredibly versatile if he keeps it up. Gordon doesnt defend or pass as well, and his scoring can be incredibly streaky. If you can handle Gibson's recent fg%, I'd rather see how he pans out with Byron Scott's blessing as a major part of their team. I'm not saying he's a definite solution for the rest of the season, but I can't say that for Gordon either. I've gotta believe Rip is getting moved at some point soon, and it depends on who DET brings in whether Gordon can maintain steady value at that point.
