Successful Scenario
Due to Cleveland and Seattle being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Cleveland and Seattle had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
What do you think guys? I always think that Earl Watson is a perfect fit to our team. Looks like he is the PG we are looking for.
Plus i like Earl Watson. I like David Wesley too but if it means losing Ira Newble i'm willing to let him go. He's only been here a month so there's no attachment haha
I'm sorry, I just detest trade talks on forums. Less than 1% of them actually happen so why speculate? People actually get into arguments over it. I can't fathom it.
Trades almost only happen in the NBA around draft time or around the trade deadline anyways.

Why are you so down on Newble btw? Surely he didn't do much for us under coach Silas, but he hasn't played in almost 2 years now, so why does he still bother you? Is it his contract?
Exactly what you just said! When he played he was horrible, now he just doesn't play at all but he's still getting paid. No point whatsoever in having him.

I guess, but having watched the Cavs suffer through the Danny Ferry years I guess it doesn't bother me as much. I'd rather see a coach with balls bench a guy even though he's making money, than keep playing him when he stinks the way we did with Ferry, and the way they do with Damon Jones.
But regarding Newble, I'm so tired of seeing our wretched play at the 2 spot that I'd almost welcome seeing him in the lineup just for something different.
