Its all over now
Jermaine O'Neal is coming back.
From Yahoo.com:
Quote:
Mar 21 C-F Jermaine O'Neal is still in the Celtics' plans as he tries to come back from knee surgery. "I think he is going to play before the regular season is over," said GM Danny Ainge. "He's going great, and he feels good. He's upbeat. This is the most optimistic that I've seen him since he's been here."

Its incredible how fast he's fallen off. In his prime he was a very good player.

Nenad Krstic still needs to get minutes over him though.

No one detected my (half) sarcasm?
Anyway...............JO played well in a reserve role earlier this year. If he feels better now, that should continue. In any case, I'll take him as my last big off the end of the bench over the likes of Brian Scalabrine or Shelden Williams any time.

People noted it but the responses are more on JO and how he will help than your subject line.

I'd actually take him on the Knicks in a heartbeat.
How is he making 12 million for 2 years though? Guy should be a vet min. player or at least 6-8 million for 2 years.

Didn't he average like 2 points on 10% shooting in the playoffs last year?

We talking about Jermaine O'Neal? C'mon man. He's only going to play about five minutes a night.
