Default Terrence Jones, Brandon Knight, DeAndre Liggins of Kentucky declaring for 2011 Draft

I'll move this to the Draft forum shortly:

Kentucky junior DeAndre Liggins and freshmen Terrence Jones and Brandon Knight have declared for this year’s NBA Draft. None of the three have signed or announced plans to sign with an agent.

Liggins, a 6-foot-6 guard from Chicago, served as the Wildcats’ defensive stopper this season, consistently drawing the assignment of guarding the opposing team’s top offensive threat. He averaged 8.6 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 39.1 percent from 3-point range.

Damn, KY can't catch a break with keeping players. Last year with Wall and company leaving, now this.

Too bad that this thread will fade into the obscurity of a useless subforum.

Good news for me, since I'm a UT fan.

Terrence Jones has TMAC potential if he gets on the right team with a green light

I'd spend a mid to low 1st pick on Liggins. He's so versatile. If he improves that jumper he could be another Battier.

No, he doesn't. Not even close. T-Mac was a true SG/SF with handles, explosiveness, a jumper, and just plain smoothness to his game that Terrence Jones doesn't even come close to approaching in ANY of those "categories".
