I was just commenting on the fact that the Knicks have no fight in them.
As if a prophecy came true a fight breaks out. I didn't mean it that way.
This team has no heart.
But Collins was wrong but somewhat justified. The person lowered his shoulder and bullied his way to the basket. That was a foul!!!!!
What ensued was just not cool. Anthony is a low life street punk, we called that a sly rap. He sucker punched him and backed off like a high school punk. I hope they suspend him for a long time.
This team is in disarray without Q. You don't know how much you miss someone until he's gone.
I was hoping Marbury stepped it up and provided some leadership, he actually did and got on Curry's case about were to be on Defense. Then he was yelling at the players to talk to each other.
So maybe Marbury is starting to buy into the system and playing the right way.
This is a real low point and worse than anything that happened last season.
I am close to giving up on this team. They are becoming unwatchable.
But I am a long time fan and will probably suffer through the season hoping to see guys like Balkman, Lee and Frye grow into really great players.
I don't think Curry will ever get it and will be inconsistent through out his career.
gotta say...when nate "tackled" JR...he was really just spinning with JR's initial run at him. JR came full speed towards nate, and kinda threw a punch or something (tough to see on some views) but nate was quick enough to duck/dodge and wrap him up...really think overall, Carmelo and JR should get the worse ends of the suspensions...Collins' initial foul was bad...but very similar to Raja on Kobe during playoffs last year...until JR bull rushes nate, nate was just telling denver players to back off...JR instigated it more than anyone else overall. And i'm pretty sure Mardy only went down after the punch cuz Jeffries kinda threw him out of the way to get to Carmelo...not sure what that was all about. Melo is guaranteed a suspension for throwing a punch, and I really thought it looked like JR threw a punch during his rush/dive at nate. Should be interesting to see how this turns out.
Just totally embarassing. Gettting blown out on your own floor should encite the knicks to beat each others a-s-s. But of here comes the excuses. Denver left their starters on the floor. So what! George Karl doesn't like the Knicks organization as a whole, for firing his friend LB then making good by not having to pay his salary. So he wanted to thoroughly embarrass New York as a whole. Jr Smith got off a 360 dunk with no one within 5 feet! But back the Knicks comment. The only starter who shouldn't have been in the game was Melo. Everyone else I personally didn't have a problem being there because these guys were getting minutes due to team injuries. Now when Melo landed that punch on a restrained player, that was one of the cheapest shots I have seen in a long time. That punch came after everything basically had calmed down. Just because it seemed premeditated, He should get about 5 but most likely get 3. But the moral is simple. In the old days, NOT ON MY FLOOR meant you weren't gonna win the game. These Knicks lost the game, the fight, respect, heart, and character. And why the hell was Isaiah holding conversation with an oponent anyway? I believe Karl had a problem the first time Denver and New York played? then he get to watch his player get sucker-punched by the same guy. RIDICULOUS!!!
