Miracle barring the Heat vs Mavs will be a historic event for basketball. It will end with either the vindication of all the hard work and dedicated for Dirk with JKidd, Peja and Cuban as they claims that elusive ring or we see LeBron James silences the critics and earns his first of maybe many rings.
Which ending would you prefer? *not who do you want to win
Re: Going to be a landmark NBA Champion this year.
I think it's an epic series and contrast in teams. You have a team of veterans known through their career as chokes or having been robbed of rings by great teams in Kidd's and Peja's case. A team that gets by on the ultimate unselfish playstyle and balance.
Then you have a team who just formed a super trio and is in the finals their first year. A team that's all about Iso's and individual talent. Incredible potential and even good depth. Younger team that gets by on defense and athleticism mostly. They really can't be any different.

It is a great storyline either way, but the NBA would thrive on LeBron winning his first ring. The King has won a ring, Miami's big three wins their first of many championships.
Re: Going to be a landmark NBA Champion this year.
It would be kind of cheap if LeBron gets his first ring the second he teams up with other superstars. I want them to face heartbreak before overcoming it.
Really hope this is Dallas' year. They deserve it. They've been so good for so long. Not even a fan of theirs, but as a fan of sports, it will hurt if guys who just teamed up because the city they teamed up in was sunny beat guys who put their heart, blood, sweat and tears into trying to win it all.

Id prefer LBJ shoving the hate all year straight up everyone's ass. I like it when the "bad guy" wins.
But if we do lose, I'm glad it will be to Dirk and Kidd... They are both classy players that deserve it. If only they could win a ring w/out Cuban getting one too...
