The Lakers will be fine. With that core, they'll still contend. Never really liked the Mike Brown hire, but... I just want them to really make a move for a point guard.

A young, dynamic PG is one of the biggest missing pieces we have right now. And to me, once that is fixed, we will definitely be solid contenders for the title again. If we can not get one off of a trade, the best thing we can do is start Darius Morris. While I love Fish, he can no longer be our starting PG. I even considered thinking about us possibly putting Blake up as our starting PG.
I know he's been discussed in the past but what would you guys think of Darius Morris possibly starting?
The Lakers will make the playoffs and have a good record during the regular season. They will flop before the WCF. They are done pretty much..at least this group. The kobe era is almost done. The next lakers era will not be as good as the Nick Van Exel years. The team is old and bloated. It will take some time and rebuilding for them to contend.

all it would take is a few minor moves at PG and bench depth and this team can be champions again. Lakers aren't close to being done here. This team will still bd one of the main titles favourites for a while yet.

No offense man......but he could start for the defenders NBDL team that's all.
It would be completely insane to let a low round rookie start at PG for the Lakers, I mean what has he done......what has he won????
