Default Raiders sign T.J. Who'syourmoma

Quote:
The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent veteran wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh.
Houshmandzadeh was selected in the 7th round of the 2001 NFL Draft out of Oregon State and played eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before playing one year each with the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens.
Throughout his 10 NFL seasons, Houshmandzadeh has caught 616 passes for 7,091 yards (11.5 avg) for 43 touchdowns. The veteran has recorded two 1,000-yard seasons and four additional seasons of over 900 yards.

I read that they worked him out over the bye week, guess Hue liked what he saw. Him and Palmer must have some good chemistry, hopefully he can be somewhat of a reliable possession receiver for da raidahs

Hopefully Carson can air it out to DHB. Is Carson starting next game?

I like McFadden to sit actually and heal up!
Bush can run all over the Donkeys!

As for the sign...doesn't hurt I guess. TJ is a big target!

Carson is starting yep. TJ supposed to be the slot guy with DHB and Moore on the outside, and Ford rotating in randomly.

Carson lobbied hard for TJ to return the favor for TJ saying Carson's arm is better than ever, he's motivated, and in great shape before the trade to oakland.

I like Bush he runs too high but last week he ran the pill well.

Houz cant get seperation but maybe he can make the tuff catches. Savy veteran to instruct those young buck receivers.

I dont even think TJ will be ready to contribute right off the back. Hopefully Carson is more comfortable with the playbook but most importantly the recievers. I read he put in quite some time with them during the BYE week.

I'm debating on whether to start Carson over Josh Freeman in FF. Seeing Stafford carve up Denvers secondary? Its enticing. DHB is getting alot of targets so maybe him and Carson can really link up vs the Donkeys.

I'll be watching the game

Favre chucks it to Moss despite triple team... INT INT INT

Moss released eventually lol.

TJ sucks. Anyone remember last years PO between the Ravens/Steelers? Dude couldn't catcha cold and dropped the last pass of the game to seal the Steelers victory.

He's done.

No better team to pattern your personnel after than the 2007 Bengals!

We all owe Al Davis a heartfelt apology. Obviously, he wasn't the one making the assinine player decisions in Oakland.

i don't know why media are doggiing TJ so much like he was so awful or washed up with the Raven's. i mean he had one huge drop to end their season, but otherwise he was a huge target WR that when he got the looks looked easily above average. if it weren't for him playing behind Boldin/Mason he could've produced much more than he did. if i never looked at his age, speed, etc. and just judging from his play from last season he looked VERY capable. i might even pick him up in my fantasy league since he's a bigger/wider target than the Raiders other WR's, and if Carson favors him i can see a bounce back year. he's definitely better than most media outlets are portraying him...

yeah but he was very effective in most of his very limited opportunities with them. that was his worst mistake tho that everyone faults him for, not to mention he's a lil too outspoken without having the clout he used to have.
