Just a question Oden or anyone else.
Shaq was the leader and clear cut best player for 3 LA Title Teams and won 3FMVPs.
No Laker in the history of the Franchise was as good as Shaq was from 98-02.
Honestly other then maybe Magic what other LA player had a 7 year stretch of dominance and high level of play that Shaq had from 97-04.
I dont see how Shaq isn't in that same group and he should have a reasonable argument as the GOAT LA player or at the very worst be very high up on the list.
Do people really forget how good he was?
Also I form my own opinions I dont let others tell me what I should think.
Jerry West has called Shaq the greatest player he has ever seen and the MDE and so has Kobe on numerous occasions so who should I believe, them or Shaq?
Player's just say whatever they are feeling at the moment or whatever suits their agendas (who knows what Shaq was thinking when he said this).
He probably knows its better for his Post - NBA Career to suck up to Kobe since he is David Sterns poster boy and has a legion of mostly lobotmized stans following him online and everywhere else.
Its pathetic but probably true and I dont necessarily blame the guy.
