Default How much better would the Cowboys be if Jerry Jones pulled an Al Davis?

He needs out of there. Romo needs out of there.

Start fresh.

I can't imagine being a Cowboys fan. I'd have probably beat off with sandpaper by now and jumped in a vat of hydrofluoric acid by now.

So what, you think he needs to die? Jones is an icon and deserves some respect. He may be a little too deeply involved but it's not like he's making awful moves all the time and it's not his fault that his QB blows games from time to time.

Why does Romo need out of there?

As a fan, wouldn't you want an owner who is just as passionate about your team as you are verses one who treats it solely as a business?

Jones may have his faults, but i'd take him as a owner any day of the week

How do you feel about Dan Snyder?

Snyder and Jones are different types of owners.

He's pretty passionate about winning. He's willing to do whatever it takes/costs to win.

I understand your point, but I lean towards Jones because he's more of a football guy than Snyder is.

I just feel like I've talked to so many Cowboys fans who want Jones gone and want to start fresh. I'd argue that not a whole has changed since Wade left. They're going through the same problems. Same 4th quarter bullshit. Same chokes. Jones just seems like a jackass to me. Sure, he likes his team. Most owners do I think.

They need Raghib Ismail back and to play him at every position.

And I'll never have faith in Romo to win a Superbowl. Ever.

I never said I wanted him dead. I could care less how successful Dallas is; I don't like the Cowboys. I was just curious what you and other Cowboys fans thought. If new ownership came into play, do you think you'd have a better team?

I think Jerry Jones is the greatest owner in all of sports...wouldn't trade him for anyone.

Alright. And that's all I was wondering. I think people are coming in thinking I want this guy to croak but that's not the case. Just a simple question.

Yup Jerry Jones is such a great football guy acting as GM and top dog that they have advanced in the playoffs once since 1997. Good thing hes the owner or he would have been fired long ago as being a 'football guy'
