i do the birdman every time i do a dunk (which has happend like 3 times in my life lol) but i give the bird man a spiritual salute witrh the birdman. hes probably slining crack rocks like all new orleanites right now, have you read time magazine latley? theyve had to call in national guard cuz crime is so bad. hes just being a little less con****uous about it all probably =)
probably taking way longer than Nate Robinson to finish a dunk.
Nate took more tries than Chris did. I have it on video. For some reason it's heartwarming when the short guy does it, and annoying when the tall guy does it. I think both people should have gotten a zero for their inability to put the ball in the hoop.
first off he wasnt popped for weed, so get your drug analogies right.
second, he can apply to the league for reinstatement but that doesnt mean they have to grant it. from my understanding, he has applied, but I havent heard whether the league has actually decided to reinstate him or not.
He is eligible to come back now. But I doubt anyone takes him back. It would be cool if someone did.
An athletic big that can rebound and play a little D...will always have place on someones bench. He was solid d+ player, that can likely be had for the Leauge minimum. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas pick him up to shore up their front court.
. The Hornets also remain interested in re-signing forward Chris Andersen if his drug banishment is lifted by the NBA, although the wheels are turning slowly on Andersen's application for reinstatement. New Orleans also has reached out to unsigned free agent veteran P.J. Brown. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3256599
