without Jennings too

clearly Rodgers is a great QB but it's also a great system they have set up there...

This thread is obviously tongue in cheek, but it will be interesting to see which team overpays for Matt Flynn in the future.

What does that even mean? Every team has a system and every QB will play better in some schemes than in others. Never liked that term. In Rodgers' case it the West Coast offense he's running, an offense that plenty of teams have had and not excelled. Flynn had a great game, kudos to coaching staff but let's not go crazy.

So in a matter of weeks people go from "Rodgers makes his receivers look good" to "The receivers make Rodgers look good"?

It does scare me a tiny bit since my team desperately needs a QB.

Did you even watch the game? Because if you did you would know the answer to this.

No. Flynn has been in Greenbay for some time now, if I recall. I'd say they are products of hard work, dedication and great quarterback coaching. Flynn didn't put up all world numbers in CFB and his initial starts and coming in for mop up duty early on didn't wow. He put in hard work to get to this point and it still remains to be seen if he can sustain it for a 16 game season over multiple years.

Flynn is the best backup in football. Hands down. He will make a name for himself somewhere as a starter.

The Lions secondary is atrocious though. Can't wait to watch Drew Brees pick them apart and see Ndonkeykong Suh throw a bitch fit.

People were arguing that that game should be the reason why Brees takes the MVP award. Like New Orleans' offense isn't completely built around the pass.

Nobody with a brain thinks this. Rodgers has everything an elite quarterback needs. He has the arm strength, accuracy, mobility, decision making, pocket awareness, and size.

It's just absurd to think that Flynn is better than Rodgers. It's just one game people.

I can't believe Detroit's defense even let Matt Flynn go off like that. They lost to a Packers team resting most of their starters, with nothing left to play for. If Detroit won that game, they would've avoided the Saints in round 1. Oh well. They're going to get picked apart by the Saints.

The League is just severely watered down now....These college style offense tat teams are running would not have been as prevalaent had all these rules not been changed to aid the Offense. Even Qbs like Philip Rivers that didnt have their usualy Good seasons still posted Ridiculous passing numbers.
