Default Game Thread: Bobcats @ Cavaliers 1/3/12

This is the 2nd of a 3 game road trip for the cats. I'm looking forward to Kemba vs Kyrie, hoping our rookie gets some significant minutes against the #1 pick.

Tyrus Thomas still out. I'm starting to think he is the Jeff Otah of the Bobcats.

This should be a good test for the cats to see how they hold up on the road against a similar (rebuilding) opponent.

Not a Bobcats fan. Just wanted to stop by and say Silas is a dickhead. 2minutes left in a game ur not gonna win and instead of putting Kemba back in you put this no name Higgins dude. Why not develop your draft pick? Shit like that i what keeps lame duck franchises like the Bobcats as bottom feeders.

I'm starting to think 1-65 is a possibility.

Kemba needs to be handed the reigns to this team sooner rather than later. What have we got to lose?

We might not get many wins this year, but I'd rather let Kemba go and really develop. The very few times I've seen DJA and Kemba on the floor together, I've seen nice things, I personally would like to see it more often.

No beating around the bush, we need to hope we get a top 5 pick in next years draft. Is it bad I'm already looking forward to the 2012 draft? I assume we still have the pick as it's protected?

Yup, top 14 protected.

Agree with the other stuff too.

At least Bismack is steadily improving. 8 pts, 5 rbs, 2 blocks in 20 min. I'd like to see Kemba get more than 12 mins. But with DJ in the zone I can understand Silas keeping him on the bench. It was also encouraging to see us score 29 in the 3rd quarter. Baby steps.
