Do you feel bad for Brees?

Last year, he played awesome, puts up a bunch of points....only for his defense to get lit up by Matt Hassleback.

This year, he puts up 30+ points on a great defense on the road....gets the would-be game winning touchdown drive 88 yards...only for the defense to give up a touchdown to lose the game under circumstances which that should not have happened.



Get this man a defense.

mad respect for Drew he is an all time great but he's got a ring and a lot of records so no I don't feel too bad for him.

IMO, Brees is the most easily likable QB in the NFL.

He's fun to watch, plays in a high octane offense, seems like an all around good guy, and every time I see this picture, my heart melts:

I don't feel bad for him.. Why should I?

He has a dynamic offense, a good coach, good team, etc. Although they had a bunch of turnovers it's part of the game and there's people who have had worst luck then him.

The Saints will be contenders yearly as long as they have Brees at QB. He also has a SB ring.

Defense didn't have a bad game overall considering all the turnovers.

Oh ye, Brees was responsible for two of the turnovers.

Yeah I feel bad because I agree with the likable guy thing. Guy just goes out there and balls hard. Cool personality from what we see/hear. I really want to know where people rank Drew Brees all time wise for QB. He had a long enough resume for people to do it.

But no issues with SF winning tho. Heck I like Patrick Willis too. So its cool to see him go from where he was, to being 1 step closer playing for a goal he had as a kid.

My feel bad scale on 1-10? About a 6.5-7

He threw 2 INT's. So there's arguably some blame put on him too. I know I'm just being nit-picky, but no I don't feel bad.

He shoulders some of the blame for his INTs today, so no I don't feel bad. He's too good to let this get him down and the Saints will be back next year.

As Timmy D mentioned, Drew Brees:

Has won a super Bowl

Has a lovely family.

Makes a ton of bank doing something he loves.

I, on the other hand:

Make $12 an hour doing something I don't really love.

Do not have a Super Bowl ring

Am not beloved by thousands of people.

Brees should feel bad for me if anything.
