Default Funny Thing

i was reading around in the main forum & there were a few posters that believe that the spurs seem to be on the decline. i don't believe that they are. bad play could be attributed to the fact that half the players on the team were sick with the flu in december. even after they have gotten over it i was still expecting some lackidasical play. in addition, people tend to forget that there are 82 games to play in a season. there are many ups & downs throughout - & we haven't even played half of those games yet, so i really don't see any reason to panic.

other than acquiring a big man for a little more depth (a dream player would be Magloire & sufficent would be PJ Brown), i'd really like to see them get a backup point who can create a shot for himself while shooting a nicer % than Udrih.

Default .

mostly all spurs fans know the spurs coast up until the allstar game, getting rotations set, defenses set, etc. then after the allstar break during the rodeo road trip is when we get into gear and make a strong push into the playoffs.

the only serious problem i see on the spurs is a problem we have always had and thats scoring droughts. our defense usually keeps us in close games but like against dallas when we went like 4 mins without a basket cost us the lead and the ball game.

if we can get a scorer who is capable of hitting a few shots during a scoring drought then we will be set IMO.
