Default Boston is only commited to 34mil in salary next season.. good spot for howard?

with pierce signed and rondo signed to long deals..the celtics should sign garnett and allen to veteran minimum or those 2.5 mill deals...

imagine

Howard
Garnett- shooting the midrange
Pierce
Ray allen
Rondo..

Bass, petruis,

Boston is one of the biggest markets in the NBA and with the supporting cast of these Vets will definitely give howard that first ring

And that's exactly why KG and others won't get traded... Tons of cap space.

i agree that they shouldnt get trade and then ainge should sign both allen and garnett for 2 years/5 mill each..

and hopefully Jeff Green comes back healthy to solidify that bench..

wow. boston is really set up for some big things.

Yeah i'd like this for the C's.

If they could somehow find some more athleticism on the wing spots this would be a very deadly team.

Has D12 ruled Boston out as a possible destination though?

Even if they dont get Howard, its really nice having all that cap space.

Rondo+Howard would be awesome. And having Allen, Pierce and Garnett there as the 3 others won't hurt.

how do your think howard would do with the Cs.. will pierce still dominate or will howard be the focal point of that offense.

Great plan I've thought all along this is the best move for Howard. Garnett guarding 4's instead of 5's next to Howard will literally keep him in the leauge 2 more years. Two of the best outside shooters and one of the best distributors in the starting line up is sick. Allen would do DAMAGE with Howard comanding doubles. Pietrus is Meh, a bit washed up but bass and Bradley (surprise) are decent off the bench. + 2 first rounders. Goddamn that's sick. Somebody do the math, if they sign Howard at max can they afford one more vet role player? If so instant top 3 team in the east

My guess is that it would be a balanced attack. Inside/outside. Howard isn't really a back-to-the-basket scorer.

If they get Howard (big if), I think they would use the rest of the cap space on Bass, Green, and Pietrus, and KG and Allen on light deals.

the other player they sign will be jeff green backing up pierce and garnett. all they need is a serviceable Center to back up howard.

and sign pieterus to back up allen

Howard/filler
Garnett/Green
Pierce/green
Allen/petrius
Rondo/bradley

one of the sickiest lineup in the nba.Guarantee 2 more Championship

He actually has. Around the time the Magic dropped those two games to Boston.

A reporter asked him if he'd consider a market like Boston and he said "Absolutely." and then went on a tangent about Boston being a team that values titles, values building teams that can compete and is a franchise that knows how to win.
