I think with Calderon's value as high as its been in years, you do everything possible to trade him for salary cap relief. There is no reason for him to be on this team past the trade deadline...

well the only reason to keep him is if you want someone that can run the offence next year. bayless ain't gonna cut it.
I am hoping for a trade. The last one that was good for us was James Johnson. I think something similar is realistic. Not expecting a miracle this deadline.

well you get a stop gap player if anything. But giving Bayless to run the offense for one year isn't that big of a deal...
According to Lithuanian site which says that according to ESPN sources there is a trade discussed between portland and toronto, Calderon+Kleiza for Felton+Wallace.
that would be a great deal for us, even for the tank as it would be very hard for the raps to make up for all the losses at this stage of the season even if it was a really great trade.
I wouldn't mind that trade at all. Gets rid of Kleiza's contract. Gets us some quality pieces for Calderon. I wanted Calderon to get traded for an expirer and a 1st. I'd be totally happy with that.
I hope they trade Barbosa. No future with the team after this year and will fit on any teams bench. Maybe Lakers or Chicago? For a expiry and a couple of draft picks?

Don't think the Lakers need him. Chicago might though.
