Don't think that will count against his streak if he's not actually with a team.

Haha maybe Fish will pull a Big Z!

Wouldn't make sense bringing him back anyway now we have sessions and blake as the PG options.

i respect Fish and enjoyed his play over 10 years, but maybe it helps him to realize the truth, that his time as player is up.

What do they benefit in buying him out (paying him with his remaining money... and let him walk away or back)?

Well, Rockets said they needed a backup PG until Lowry gets back.. Perhaps Fisher was going to be that backup but his agent requested the Rockets to buy him out? If Fisher won't play for them, they have no choice but to buy him out and let him go.. Pointless forcing him to stay against his own wishes if that is what he wants..

According to ESPN, it seems like they haven't yet bought him out.. He just didn't show up.. If that is true then he is setting up a terrible example. I will lose respect for Fisher if he doesn't show up or does something that is out of class.. I always thought he was a classy and honest man.

He's an old man. Sick of traveling. Cut him some slack.

The buyout has been completed......Fish should clear waivers. What he will do next is a mystery......I would be very, very disappointed if he goes to a contender. He really should just retire.

I'd be pissed now if the Thunder actually do win the title.

But yeah, who wouldn't want a 37-year old washed up point guard who can't hit open 3s and can't even guard Yao Ming's broken chair?
