Default Most Improved player Andrew Bynum?

Bynum has missed minimal games, and has been a beast all season, an NBA All Star starter (likely with help from the huge fan base in L.A.)

its just because he's finally healthy. Very improved, but plenty of others deserve a consideration ahead of him.

has been a significant force for L.A. He can dominate anyone he wants at will. Agree he is finally healthy, ironically in a condensed season.

Brown needs to utilize him, instead of benching him because he doesn't like him.

agreed he has become a force this year, particularly due to health in my opinion he was always of capable of this. i think guys like marc gasol, lin(before he went down), ryan anderson, jarred jack(b4 injury) all deserves looks aswell. But bynum really has stepped it up the lakers are going to be scary in the play offs.

Kobe not playing lately is more of a blessing, cohesion will be key, with Kobe being the ultimate closer.

Hope he continues to tune out Brown, and listen to Kobe, that is hilarious on the sidelines, quote of the century "Getting my zen on"

You can add Lin, Monroe, Harden, M. Gasol, Ilyasova, George and many others

Lots of candidates this year

Probably won't get it now because he didn't play enough games (33 I think).

Yes there are, that's why Bynum pretty much has zero chance to win

Jason Smith improved tremendously. Last year he was a weak defender and a decent midrange shooter. He improved in all kind of aspects. A lot more dimensions to his offensive game plus a decent defender. His gator arms don't help though.

Lin was just a fad, a fashion statement that is no longer. He is an upgrade from Baron Davis, who is not an upgrade from Baron Davis. It is embarrassing watching him play, and lead stars like Chandler and Melo.
Lin, on the other hand cant continue to play in the NBA with such a high turnover rate.
