In his most important moments, for whole 4th qtr of games Lebron has stood around looking terrified or disinterested. Unless Henry Abott discovered Lebron was secretly poisoned or something i call bullshit.

wow at this blatant hatred

Bro the reason LeBron struggles in the 4th is because he gives his all for the first 3 quarter, he can't go 100% all game, every game.

  • The Cavaliers of LeBron James and Mike Brown were unreal in crunch time, leading the league by a hefty margin for three straight years, with the best performances of any teams in the record. It's easy to see that LeBron James matters here -- once he left for Miami the Cavaliers’ plus/minus plummeted. The Cavs averaged plus-113 with James during those three seasons, and plus one in the two seasons since. Meanwhile, before James, the Heat weren't good in crunch time, but have since become very solid.
  • Mike Brown emerges as an interesting character in crunch time. With James in Cleveland three straight years, and now in Los Angeles after a year off, his teams led the league by this metric every year he has coached in the last half-decade. In this period, neither team has been as good with other coaches, either.

Sauce.

Also.. guys.. try to watch the video before posting your ignorant comments.

In his biggest moments in SEVERAL different playoff series Lebron completely cracked in the pivotal moments. That is NOT clutch.

Bullshit manipulation of numbers and searching for stats that work doesn't change that.

Lebron is awesome. It's easy to find awesome Lebron numbers. But the defining moments of his career so far have found him standing around terrified.

Can Lebron come through and then we give him props or is he at such a low level right now that we need to make up things about him?

Reasons behind my skepticism for Abbott's numbers are two-fold: one they are cumulative and non-specific. They don't for example objectively measure MB's actual contribution in relation to said clutch numbers, just the end results.

And two, they're for the most part a measure of the regular season; playoffs numbers would likely draw a different picture. But of course no mention of that because it'd defeat the purpose of posting these stats.

By "SEVERAL", you mean game 5 of the 2010 Celtics and games 3-5 of the Mavs series, right? Because those are the only series you could make a case for him "cracking". Even in the '07 Finals, he didn't play well overall, but he actually played well in the 4th quarter and crunch time:

Yes, that is pretty much what he means. He has been mislead by the hype of casual fans who occasionally watch games and watch SportsCenter once in a while.

Lebron's had great playoff clutch moments and some bad ones, like most players. Unlike most players however, he had the whole country against him and entire ESPN shows (Skip Bayless's show) dedicated to his failure against the Mavericks.

I assume you're only talking about last year's Finals + some reg games from last and this year, right?

Otherwise, I'd have to call you out for bullshit.

Troll post?

I can think of two moments. Not sure how that can be described as several.
