Loved those old Kings teams he was part of, hated him when he got traded to the Bulls. Sort of fell off the map after that.
So few guys from those old Kings teams I loved left in the league. Bibby's got one foot out the door. After that, Hedo and Gerald are all that remains.
Must have missed out on the Ben Wallace thread yesterday that us Racists made
I really meant on as an overall trend, not just ish. all sorts of places (TBJ for one) talking about brad miller's retirement this last couple of weeks with nary a mention of ben wallace outside of the detroit media.
One, an undrafted undersized guy who anchored the decades best defense, won a title, all time records for blocks (and almost steals) for a storied franchise, set the record for games played by an undrafted player.
One, an undrafted fullsized big man who was a solid roleplayer (and great teammate) on a number of middling to decent teams.
Which player should be more celebrated in retirement? Now, I know ben may come back next year, which changes the storyline slightly.

I think it's because at the beginning of the season, he said "this is my last season" but when asked recently, he's waffling on it. He might be back.
