Has a rookie ever had this big of an impact?
Record with Rubio: 22-20 (8th seed in West when he tore ACL)
Record post-Rubio torn ACL: 5-20 (currently 12th in West behind Portland)
Record with Rubio in starting lineup: 19-13 (.594 win percentage)
Record without Rubio in starting lineup: 7-21 (.250 win percentage)

Ya, I know other rookies have had amazing impacts as well. but Rubio changed this team from a winning percentage of .250 to .600.  |

the celtics won like 29 games that year before bird. that's a bigger jump than Rubio |

Well, they were 21-21 after the Lakers game that Rubio was injured in.
The next time they played the Lakers, they were still 22-23, but Pekovic missed the next nine games and they went 3-6 in that span.
That seemed to really start their stumble, as they finished the season on a 1-13 skid.
That team had more than one injury, did it not?

Here's more. When Rubio was playing the Wolves only let opponents score more than 110 points 2 times, since Rubio went down it happened 12 times

The Rubio effect is simple: when Rubio was on the team the Wolves gave a shit to make the playoffs.
When Rubio went down the Wolves went into tank mode.
