You know, the up and down play has brought the venom us Knicks fans have been known for. Every loss, we all start pointing fingers...myself included. You know what? It's growing old. End of the day, you win some and you lose some. Usually, the team with the better talent (like Miami) wins when both teams play equally hard. I'm going to take a break from being the Residential Pit for a second and take time out to appreciate my Knicks. For the 1st time in a loooooooong loooong time I can actually say, I'm happy to be a Knicks fan. Sure, we will probably get knocked out of the 1st round and possibly even swept. At the end of the day, I can't honestly say all of our guys aren't giving 100%. I can't honestly say we don't have guys who can compete with the elite teams. Are we as good as the Heat? Hell no. But we can compete with them. And for that, I'm going to take a step back and say Thank You NY Knicks! I know I'm a firebreathing demon sometimes on this message board but I really do appreciate our team (post D'Antoni). For the 1st time in years, I look forward to Knicks games coming on TV down here in MD and go out of my way to find streams of them when they don't. I implore all of you, even the harshest critics like myself, Scooter and Rameek, to join in giving our Knicks a bit of encouragement (even thought they won't see thisclearly).
This has been the most competitive basketball we've had in years. I'm going right now to go buy some Knicks gear to add to my collection and I'm going to wear it proud!
