Never said it wasn't amazing. I had been reading murmurs about it for years and was there opening day. Based on what I'd heard, I just expected the plot to be different.
It's not like I expected it to be the greatest and was disappointed because it didn't blow me out of the water. It was just a different plot than I expected. No big deal, I still liked it a lot, saw it twice in theaters and bought the DVD.
For the record, I didn't mean for the comment to seem contrarian. I was simply affirming the thought.
Ehh...I dunno. Maybe it's because of his comic career that made him famous, but I just can't take Jaime Foxx seriously. The dude really does have some dramatic talent but I can't get past "that's Jaime Foxx" when I see him.
Waltz seems pretty hammy, which is honestly par the course for him. Never really gotten the hype with him.
It's just a couple minute trailer but I hope it's not as quasi-light hearted as it seems. That blood spatter on cotton shot was nice though. I'm wired to be negative these days, but I'll be seeing it on the big screen.
dont like the look of it, was expecting more of a traditional western from tarrentino, seeing as tho all his films are basically westerns anyway. but this is saturated with the usual tarrentino highly stylised pastiche....dissapointing.
