I was just wondering what abunch of basketball people thought about this... I plan on trying out for a local community colleges basketball team next year.. but the kicker is I lost the chance to play basketball for my highschool team. The story behind that is, my my fresh and soph. years I was a football player ( O line ) with around 240 pounds on me so I pretty much knew i would die if i joined basketball. The last two years ( my junior and this year my senior year ) I quit football to loose weight and started track and field, and just picked up wrestling this year and made varsity at 5'11 .09 inch away from 6 foot :P at 170 pounds. I want to play basketball at a JC if i dont get into any bigg UC's right off the bat.. Do you guys think it is feasable for my to start at the JC level with out highschool experience? and do you guys know of any spring/summer leagues in southern california? Im pretty good at over coming challenges and up until a year ago i used to come home from school and shoot hoops with my neighbor who played with another local hs until dusk everyday so :
