Is Dance with the Devil deepest rap ever?
I honestly can't think of a song that has lyrics that affect you as deeply as this song did.

Re: Is Dance with the Devil deepest rap ever?
I just recently had a talk about Immortal Technique with one of my buddies. He hadn't heard him before so I had him listen to you never know, point of no return, and dance with the devil. My friend couldn't believe Tech's use of vocabulary and imagery. I feel like Tech is one of the most intellectual and real rappers out there. Dance with the Devil is definitely the most powerful songs I have listened to. No other song has made me think as much as this one has.

Beautiful song, does not make one think much, though.
It's a terrific story.

What do you mean it doesn't make you think? It has a lot of emotion, is very illustrative of several problems faced by youth in America, and it ends with the absolute decimation of a persons livelihood. If you can't find anything to think about, then you are just not trying.

Immortal Technique sucks for the most part. Terrible flow, tries too hard with vocab, needs to make some decent music.
Dance with the Devil is a great song. I think most rappers could have killed it though, and probably done a better job, but still, it's a great song.

That song by IT is way deeper than Dance with the devil by the way.
