Default Mo' Money 20 Year Anniversary

The film known as Mo' Money recently turned 20 years old. This film starred two of the Wayans brothers (Damon and Marlon.) It was a first for both. Let's give it up for one of the most under appreciated films of the 90s.

This would be Damon's first starring role as well as writing a feature film. This would be Marlon's first film (besides a 8 second showing in his other big bro Keenen's "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka!")

It also featured the lovely Stacey Dash in her first co-starring role.

Mo' Money takes it's roots from an In Living Color sketch tiled Homeboy's Shopping Network were Damon's character (Ice Man) main slogan was screamin' "Mo' Money, Mo' Money, Mo' Money."

It also featured I'd say the best soundtrack of that time.

Ralph Tresvant: Money Can't Buy You Love
Mint Condition: My Dear
Johnny Gill: Let's Just Run Away
Big Daddy Kane: A Job Ain't Nothin' But Work

I won a Mo' Money cap when the movie came out, I wore it religiously... I think people use to make fun of me for being a floppy haired white New Zealand kid embracing hip-hop culture.

The movie was average - I was basically only into basketball related movies as a kid - crazy obsessive.

Good movie/better soundtrack.

Not sure if I put in my top 5 for Damon Wayans movies. I like The Last Boy Scout, Bulletpfoof, The Great White Hype more.

It basically sucked, but the scene in the deli was funny.
