when bane says "no brother, theyll be expecting one of us" what does he mean?

and why was he drawing blood from the doctor?

Don't think that's his brother, I felt he used "brother" as a term to call his friend. He we transfusing blood because they were trying to fake the Doctor's death.

I think it was meant to indicate these were not just criminals but terrorists with a cause. I believe he says it to the guy who is about to sacrifice his life.

i guess my question is now why sacrifice him? why not let him live if he's part of the cause?

He stayed on the plane because they needed a body to be mistaken for the doctor. That's why when the doctor introduces himself on tv at the football game, the CIA guys say "he was reported dead in a plane crash over so and so x number of months ago ... but it looks like him."

And I believe the term Brother refers to them both being members of Rhas Al Ghuls' League of Shadows, but that's mostly conjecture.

I just don't know why he sounds like he's doing a Sean Connery impression the whole movie.

At least Batman has a reason for disguising his voice, so he won't be recognized.

I wanted to see Bane take his mask off to eat. I was curious how painful it would actually be for him or if the mask was just for intimidation.

my GF said Bane's voice kind of reminded her of the big ass turtle looking thing in The NeverEnding Story speaking into a voice box.
