Good find. Looks interesting. I’m a Metal Gear fan…played 1-3, and Peace Walker. I have Metal Gear 4 in my gaming drawer collecting dust. I kick myself for not playing it yet.

Speaking of MGS 4 I recently finished it again after they released the trophy patch, which was just an excuse. I have played the whole thing four times already now on hard and very Hard mode.

Because it's an anime type game, lots of talking and explanations, drama and shit. You can always press Start then skip.

For that reason, I didn't like MGS4 and to an extent, MGS2.

It's like Kojima let the younger guys handle it and they wanted to go the overly dramatic anime route. It's no different than how the young COD devs over-pack their games with slow-motion explosion scenes and Rambo missions. For COD, it's acceptable because it was always meant for multiplayer and was never truly story oriented like MGS was.

MGS 5: Ground Zero looks like it'll go back to form. Solid storytelling. Solid characters. Solid dialogue.

For me MGS 3 ranks first followed by 4, 1 and 2.

Fawking loved that game, the only things I didn't like were the waaaay too elaborate cutscenes revealing the background story on those boss-chicks. Other than that, pretty much a perfect game to me.

MGS1 remains king though.
