I supported him by going to see him at the sound academy last weekend.

depends on the situation. if an artist is independent and going to get most of that money than yea buy it. but if that money is going to a major label don't waste the money.

Tru, but it also depends on what type of deal said artist has with a major. Some artist like a Prince or Master P on a major get back most of that money where as a puppet like a Rihanna does not.
