Default How Big Is the Gap Between LeBron and Durant?

clearly the #1 and #2 best players in the league with Lebron at #1 and Durant at #2, but how big is the difference between the two?

Huge. Maybe the most lopsided comparision ever posted on this site. Durant is far and away the best player in the league. Lebron is at best the 3rd best player on his own team.

A good comparision would be the difference between CP3 and Austin Rivers, with Durant being Paul and Lebron is a poor man's version of Rivers

Still pretty big imo. But Durant is having a great season and current runner for MVP.

It was a pretty reasonable size gap last year. This year, not so much. The gap will get smaller and smaller every season until KD passes up Lebron.

LeBron James is the better defensively, better passer, and better post player.

Although I admit I haven't seen Durant that much this season yet, so I don't know how he with his post game. Durant is better offensively though.

I don't really think it's that big, but clearly I think LeBron could do more things for you than Durant. LeBron impact is bigger than Durant imo, though Durant is clearly better offensively to me.

I have both a couple of steps below kobe, they exchange #2 spot on a weekly basis, there is not much gap between them though, Durant took the lead this week while lebron was busy losing to the wizards.

I just believe Lebron has more impact on his team at the end of the day. I don't even think need Durant need to win a title to surpass Lebron. I just don't think he can consistenly do all the things for the Thunder that Lebron does for the Heat.
