if the lakers are out of it by end of month, they need to do the right thing by Kobe
and trade him to a contender. let the man get his 6th, trade him to the Knicks for Amare. when kobe is playing in the finals, they can show the tv broadcast at Staples and it will be like the lakers made it to the finals too

Why so you can try to argue that Kobe will have six rings just like Jordan? Does it matter? Kobe's first three rings were thanks to Shaq being the Alpha. Where ever you ship him to a contender there will be another alpha and if they win, Kobe will win as a role player.
