If you played 40 min/game in the NBA, what would your averages be?

Mine would be:

0.8 ppg (every once in a while someone might foul me while trying to steal the ball, and free throws are free throws, even in the NBA)
0.7 rpg (one has to bounce my way every once in a while)
0.4 apg (simply because any time the ball bounced my way, I might get lucky by passing it to a guy who would knock down a shot).
0.1 spg
0.1 bpg

I was a good high school player, but I'm not about to pretend I could ever hold my own in a real NBA game.

I sacrifice my scoring to play aggressive D. All of my points come in transition or from the line. I stopped playing ball for two months so I've lost my handle so I'd lose the ball a lot and I'm an ambitious passer. I can get steals because I have a 6'6 wingspan

Yeah, it's feasible that you are probably as good as a guy like Thabo Sefolosha. I mean those numbers are pretty similar to his stats, and with good defense like you said you played.

And it's also completely feasible that you, a random internet poster who is NOT in the NBA, be third in the NBA in steals per game with 2.0 if you hopped out there on the court.

This pretty much for me except I would probably average 0spg, and probably only 0.1rpg and my shooting % and average might be a little lower too. Definitely will not record a single block for the entire season, I actually laughed trying to picture blocking someone in the NBA.

**EDIT** I might shatter league records for turnovers though, if my teammates fed me the ball
