Nash had like 2 assists. You act like Nash had 10 assists and Kobe still had 14. If anything, it's an indictment of Kobe because despite the fact that he scaled back his shooting (to his credit), he clearly still dominated the ball and didn't let Nash run the team, which is what he should be doing.

Nash should run the offense. He is a better passer. What Kobe wisely did is realize that he is not good enough to chuck a team to a playoff win even in his prime, let alone now so not shot jacking and let the big men work in the post is a good idea.
But still, it was a home game against a mediocre team. I wouldn't read that much into it.
