why for lakers: get a legit SF in Deng, a better fit than dwight in lopez and a good backup for kobe in Rip.

why for bulls: get SG of the future in Brooks, wallace is not much downgrade from Deng, Meeks gives them rip's production for much cheaper. This also puts them under the tax line.

why for Nets: get Dwight

At first I liked the idea of having Brooks on a cheap 3 year deal, and Wallace taking over for Deng, but then I saw Wallace's numbers. Is he injured? Meeks is a non factor for me.

Really? Young guard that can both create his own shot and actually make said shot? Not interested? That is the type of player the Bulls desperately need.

We already have Nate/Marco for that. We don't need anymore role players that can create their shots. We need a legit 2nd option. Brooks could definitely be that, but Wallace, and Meeks don't interest me as a Bulls fan.

This trade is a huge win for the Bulls.


Wallace has had injuries this year and is on a team that has spent much of the year in an offensive mess, with too many parts to put together. He should also be on the All-Defensive Team.


The Bulls would be insane to not go for this.

If that's the case, then I'd have to reconsider. I loved Wallace on the Bobcats. Was just perplexed by his current numbers. I knew he had to of been injured or something.

He has to compensate for playing between Johnson and Humphries. I think he'd be great on the Bulls.
