Default Who wants Evan Turner?

Quote:
• The Sixers, sources say, are open to a shakeup as they continue to wait for the return of Andrew Bynum to give All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday some badly needed help. And I'm told Philly, as such, is shopping (or at least making calls to gauge the value of) swingman Evan Turner.

Hawks and Cavs need to take a look at this. ASAP.

If this is true I have no idea what the hell the Sixers are trying to do. In fact, I don't think they know themselves. Wasn't Turner having a breakout season? I know he is inconsistent as hell and not exactly the smartest kid but he is what, 21-22 and they are giving up on him?

He's 24, 25 by the start of next season.

He just isn't all that good. Not bad, just nothing special. See if you can capitalize on the "he's young, #2 pick!" hype from someone who hasn't really watched him before you need to make a decision on his next contract.

That's fair enough. I admit I haven't seen enough of him to make a call so I was a bit surprised.

Watching him last year against the Bulls, unlike in previous opportunities, he did seem to play with an edge but a 25 y.o. player with 3 years of experience should have already shown what he is capable of at this stage.

Hes an undersized sf whos very good athlete but not iggy.

Hes not a building block guy but very solid as a starter. Great rebounder decent post game and runs thebreak.
