Default Best Center in the league Marc Gasol's numbers as of late

19/10/5 and 2 blocks on 60% shooting and 89%ft over the past 6 games. All while anchoring the best defense in the league. Ever since the Rudy trade he has grabbed the rains of the team and taken control. There are a some good centers in the league, but most of them are only good on one side of the floor. Gasol, Duncan, and Noah have huge effect on both offense and defense. With the center position straying away from its traditional role, its refreshing to see a guy who can still bang down low and play back to the rim while also using high iq skills and finesse.

The only problem is that Hollins is a stupid coach who doesn't appreciate big men.

Everyone should've expected this. Addition by subtraction is a very real thing in sports. Seeing Marc Gasol's point-center dynamic with Randolph being derailed every possession by a Rudy Gay iso was depressing.

I been saying since the season started in a lot of threads that Marc Gasol is the best and its not just about numbers the dude is a beast. He should have been an All Star and he should be in consideration for DPOY as well as being in one of the All NBA teams.

He runs the offense through gasol and zbo. He appreciates his bigs more than anyone on the team.
