Default VC a Knick?

One team capable of making a run at either Carter or Kidd is the Knicks, who wouldn't be scared off by their salaries and have a few interesting young players to offer in exchange. A league insider says that the Knicks have held discussions with New Jersey for Carter in particular. Don't forget that Isiah Thomas tried to acquire Carter from Toronto two years ago. Imagine the buzz he would create in Manhattan.

Could anyone see Vince Carter as a Knick?

My gosh, Isiah with his crazy moves again. We've already been rumored to have gone after Drew Gooden, Larry Hughes, Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis, Kevin Garnett, and Jermaine O Neal, and this is a calm year!

that is the dumbest story i have ever seen, there is no validity at all in that story, do you think for a second that rod thorne maybe the best gm in the the game would have traded one of its best players to the knicks there arch rival and a team thats only a game back of them in the standings, got to love the trade deadline people make up stories for the hell of it lol.

I don't want VC. He has an enormous contract, won't even like the team because they aren't championship contenders. The Nets can keep him.

that would be a huge upside for the Nets. They'd actualy get a 7 foot center who could rebound! :

well first of all if we had our original pick it would be pretty foolish to trade that pick and any chance at getting oden or durant to get a player who can opt out at the end of the year, but theres no way thorne would have ever traded him to the knicks, i dont think it was ever realistic i think the media got bored and made this up, thorne is as bright as they come he wasnt about to trade his best player to the hated knicks and a team hes competing for the playoffs with.

who said anything about our original pick? we don't have it, how can we trade it?

agree, rod thorne is a good gm.

this isn;t yankees redsox, this is VC in a contract year, he would've done this.

The Nets will do what they have to and keep him. Especially after what happened with Martin.
