Re: If you were Garnett, would you ask the Wolves for a summer trade?
If I was KG, I would give Mr. Taylor and Mr. McHale a big fat notice stating; If I do not see any type of personal moves, in terms of getting some really good talent around me through the draft or free agency or the trade deadline of next year; this will be my last year in the Twins.
So, if I was KG, I would gut it out one more year, with one huge condition. Condition being; The owners and GM have to make some positive deals in order to make the team better. But if I see that the owners and GM or not trying to make the team better....I am done. Trade me to the Lakers!!!

If I were Garnett, I would not issue any public ultimatums about getting me out and keep the head high. Be classy about it. Instead, I'd have a closed door meeting with management and find out what ideas they have for improving the team. If I was not convinced the team was going to improve, I'd ask privately for them to deal me to a contender.
Re: If you were Garnett, would you ask the Wolves for a summer trade?
KG deserves much better than he's getting.
KG is one of the most dedicated players I've ever seen. Only a
handful of players are as serious about the game as KG. He's
right up there with Kobe, MJ, Magic, Russel.....
He deserves a chance at some rings. He deserves a major place in
NBA history that will always be debated without rings.
Please trade him and give him a real shot, please!!!!
Re: If you were Garnett, would you ask the Wolves for a summer trade?
He's loyal. no none in '95 thought much of him and McHale took him and got lucky. He love 'Sota and has too much old school in him to leave he'll stick it out and just go with it being the best power forward he can be.
and when did all of a sudden did all nba superstars deserve a ring? you're good in college or high school you go to a bad team you make the bad team better but, never get a ring then all of a sudden you deserve to be traded to a championship contender?
if that was the case then why don't all these superstars go to the same team and then you'd have the phoenix suns looking like this
nash
bryant
marion
garnett
stoudemire
like iverson if he wanted a ring so bad he would've went to a place like phoenix for anything instead of a middle of the west team like denver it's all one big joke..

If the Suns had those starting five above, they should just hand them the trophy. They might even get 75 wins provided they have a half way decent bench.
Re: If you were Garnett, would you ask the Wolves for a summer trade?
I would go up to Mchale and punch in the face for being a dumba$$. Later that same day i will go home for dinner. Than i would come back to the arena and bring up a couple of trade ideas. Such as a Kings - Timberwolves Trade:
Minnesota trades:
Mark Blount
Ricky Davis
Mark Madsen
Rashad McCants
to the Kings for:
Brad Miller
Ron Artest
Timberwolves line-up:
Foye
Jaric
Artest
Garnett
Miller
Kings line-up:
Bibby
McCants
Davis
Abdur-Rahim
Blount
(No idea why the kings would do this)
Thats the short version of me as KG, if you want the longer version of what else i would do if i were KG than say so.
