doing what he does when he gets on the court - all the little things. He's had a bunch of double figure rebound games at just 6'4" (listed at 6'5"), had some impressive finishes, playing awesome D (or as awesome as Syracuse's zone will allow), but he is still struggling with his outside shot and foulshots. This year he is really playing a secondary role as Boeheim is letting better offensive players such as Andy Rautins and Demetris Nichols take on a bigger role.

If you peep my Avatar you'll notice I was the one hyping him up when he was in highschool in my hometown.

Right now he plays on a senior lead team D. Nichols the BigEast leading scorer is playing in his spot now.

His free throws are coming around and he has vowed to work on his jumper this summer.

By the time he leaves the cuse, he will be a complete player.

His work ethic is unmatchable his hops and strength for a kid 6'4 is out of this world.

On the break he 's almost unstoppable filling the lane.

He leads all freshmen in the country with a 6.9 rebs a game.

What paul has learned is this, he can't over power everybody in the college game in a halfcourt set , so he will work on his midrange game .

Are you sure Greg Oden, Durant, or even Spencer Hawes or Brandon Wright dont have at least 6.9 per game.

maybe leading the Big East freshman in rebounding. He seems like a huge disappointment, or maybe he was over rated as a prospect. I recall hearing how he would be the best freshman in the country, and will be one and done and an NBA lottery pick. So if those where the expectations, I would say he has failed miserably.

Actually Durant is listed as a guard a lot of places and on the official texas site he is a G/F so Harris isn't even the leading guard rebounder of freshmen.

I wouldn't call him overrated or a disappointment, because if you were expecting him to come in and be Carmelo, you were nuts. He had a rough offensive game coming into college. If you saw Paul Harris coming in and thought he was an immediate superstar, you were kidding yourself.

I think my exact words about him- more or less- was that he was a more athletic, slightly more college-ready version of former Illini Sergio McClain. Considering that Sergio was an Illinois Mr. Basketball, a three-time high school state champ and as a college senior one a captain of a No. 1-seeded Illini team, I didn't mean it as an insult by any stretch; Serg was a warrior.

But he wasn't a superstar, nor did I expect Paul Harris would be right out of the gate. If he keeps developing as a ballhandler and a scorer, he could be by next year. But I wouldn't call him a disappointment as a freshman, because I never expected that he'd do more than this.

One thing you left out was his on the court leadership ability as a freshman.

This kid is gonna be more than what many expect.

I know him personaly, seen him play highschool ball.

The only thing that held him back this yr is he never had to change his game in highschool and prepschool to produce.

This season he found out that he will have to expand his game as a sophmore.

His work ethic is unmatchable , his desire to win is impeccable.

The selection committee hindered his chance to show the country how he steps up his game when the chips are on the table by not allowing syracuse to the dance. .
