Default Jason Kapono sprains ankle

The AP reports: Heat guard Jason Kapono, the NBA leader in 3-point percentage, sprained his left ankle late in the third quarter of Miami's game against Atlanta on Monday night.

He would not return, the team said.

First Wade, now Kapono. Injuries are really hurting the Heat.

Heat will miss the playoffs without the UCLA legend.

oh come on. they have more than enough talent. sure its mostly old, but you are bound to have 2 of Jones, Payton, Walker, Williams, Posey and Haslem show up scoring wise with Shaq. Thats all they need. their D can handle the rest.

They do have other guys who can fill his void (never thought losing Kapono would actually be a void, lol), but Kapono has been great this year. That 3 point shooting really opens up space for guys to cut to the hoop among other things. Posey/Jones/Walker will get more minutes. Nobody in the league has been able to shoot the 3 like Kapono this year though.
