And finally there's our confused friends in Canada, the Toronto Raptors, who make a most contradictory switch. The Raptors have decided to switch their road unis from the Purple of the Vince Carter era to the more Canada friendly red uniforms. Not too shabby for a team attempting to flaunt their aleigance to their country, but next years elimination of the "TR Maple Leaf" logo is where this change seems to get a bit confusing.
That article was written at the start of this past season. Is there any more recent news regarding the Raps unis for this coming season? I've heard that the red ones will be our permanent road uniforms and that the new home ones will likely be white with red trim. I, for one, wish we used the more colourful Red jerseys as our home ones (kind of like in hockey how they wear the colourful shirt at home and the white shirt on the road, in general). I know they used the red one at home a few times since it was the alternate shirt and it really looked good.
