I didn't know whether I should just post in the "Post Game" thread, but it would kind of be off topic. So, I thought this thread would be nice for really minor topics that last shortly.
Do you guys follow March Madness, or are you being quiet because this is the Nets forum? Just curious....
I could never get into college ball. I know, everyone says it's much better, they play their hearts out. But I am a simple basketball fan. I grew up always rooting for the home team.
Who knows, maybe in the future.
I used to live in NC for 4 years. People are crazy down there. I think productivity at work would drop 30-40% b/c of march madness.
I'm not that much of a College Basketball fan, either. They may play with more heart because they're not spoiled with tons of money, but they still lack the experience that professional players have, which I come to see.
I don't watch a lot of college ball but at the start of the season I look on draft profiles and I see who are the big names. Then if I see there playing on the Tele sometime I watch them and I also watch them in March madness to see how the do under Pressure and to see how they play against everyone elses best.

But I did enjoy Georgetown's win over UNC.
i love march madness but lately its been a letdown. that Georgetown UNC game was pretty god but overall the tourney's sucked this year.
Final four- #1 seed, #1 seed, # 2 seed, #2 seed
not many upsets or buzzerbeaters hopefully its better next year
I love college and pro hoops. It's like having two kids for me. I can't say I love one more than the other. I grew up a hoops junkie. The NBA lacks the passion of the college game. The NBA needs a rivalry like the Lakers-Celtics, Lakers-Pistons, Knicks-Bulls (One sided rivalry, yet still intense). However, I love the NBA game, always will. The NBA playoffs were the most exciting in years last season, so I expect more of the same this time around.
I disagree with Jerz Netz, I think the tourney has has some fantastic, thrilling moments. Look at the Ohio St-Xavier game, Duke-VCU, Ohio St-Tennesee, Texas A&M-Louisville, Memphis-Texas A&M, Vanderbilt-Wash. St. 2 OT thriller, Georgetown-Vandy buzzer beater, Georgetown-UNC. The lack of upsets is the only thing missing.
And i'm calling for some redemption for UCLA over Florida.
He would look like ex-Net Sam Bowie. Someones gotta find a picture.
That's so weird. I was thinking that he kind of reminded me of Sam Bowie today as I saw him play today.
I remember when I was young watching a game against the magic. I think it was Shaq's rookie year. Shaq tore down the entire goal, not just the rim, but everything. And I think Sam Bowie got his nose broken or something
