The Wizards are starting to slip and they've lost their 2 best players, Arenas and Butler. Do you guys think that it's possible for us to steal the 6th seed this late in the season? It would be great because we would get most likely get to play the Raptors.

hopefully the Bulls are done jockeying for position by the last game of the season and Nets can take that game.
realistically, I see the Nets going 5-3 (though that means Nets finish with a losing season)
I also see the Wizards 3-5 at best.
2 games is not enough. Nets need to capitalize and win the home and home and also focus on getting every single game left so they don't end up below .500 for the first tim esince 2001.
Nah im fine with 7 seed and playing the cavs in the first round
If the Nets get the 6 seed I wouldnt mind playing the Raps but what if the the Heat take the 3rd (im not sold with the Raps holding the 3rd seed...Heat are only 1.5 games behide) i dont want the Nets to play the Heat or pistons in the first round....anyone but them
I rather play the Bulls(well lets see if we win today: )
The 2 times we played the Bulls we beat them....and the only thing that kept the bulls close in the game was Nocioni. (well one game i remember we fought back)
The good news(for the Nets) is that he had a foot injury and he will miss the rest of the season maybe playoffs too (and i think there was some issue during the trade deadline and he got no pt idk) WAIT I just found out Andres Nocioni might play against the Nets today i rather play them at 100%...i guess
I know that Tyrus Thomas has getting more pt and playing well of late. Plus now they started Ben gordon.
Nets just gotta play some tough defense, Hinrich is a good point guard, but he is no shooter.
and the Nets must apply the same strategy on Ben Gordon they did last time: post Carter and Kidd on him, hell post RJ on him too, and get him tired on defense so he runs out of legs in the fourth quarter
Hypothetically, if the nets win out all there games, they could only have a maximum of 43 wins..
This is what I see them winning:
Nets
@Chicago vs Wizards
@Wizards @Cleveland vs Knicks @Pacers @Knicks
vs Bulls
It's possible that they could win it out seeing that the schedule is mostly easy, but I'm giving them about 5 for their inconsistency, leaving them at 40-42
The Wiz would only need to win 2 games to surpass this:
Wizards
vs Cleveland
@Nets vsNets
@heat @Hawks
vs Bulls
vs Orlando vs Pacers
I see them winning about 3-4 of their remaining 8, leaving them at 42-40 or 43-39. The nets getting into 6th is still a stretch since they have to make up 4 games with 8 games remaining.
I would say its possible. If we do get the 6th and Toronto is sticks with 3rd, that would be a helluva season.
The last 8 games theres a possiblity of winning every game(not saying were going on a 8 game win streak) because we've beaten everyone of those teams at least once.
I know we can beat Washington, the Knicks, and the Pacers which leaves the Bulls and Cavs. Bulls have been struggling against us all season. From 18-0 start and losing to blowing a halftime lead. Cavs, the 2 games we faced them in were close or a win. We won once and the other we lost on a missed 3 by Vince.
