I didn't get to see much of the Panthers last season. How was there O-Line in terms of pass blocking?

Panthers should have signed an OL and LB...so many good LB's were available this off-season, and they spend their money on something we didn't really need.

Carolina's offensive line is good, they had 3 starters out last season and the backups did a decent job...with Big W, Hartwig back...healthy Gross & Wahle...Delhomme will get protected, not sure why they signed Carr...maybe they see potential? Not sure.

They better draft a good OL or LB in the draft, we need that position the most.

We didn't need a backup QB? By the way that Delhomme played last year we needed a good backup QB and Chris Weinke just wasn't the guy. If we wouldn't have signed Harrington/Carr then Basanez would have been the backup and i'm sorry but he is just not ready for that role. Carr is the future QB of this franchise. Good sign for Panthers.

yeah I agree with Bobcat4Ever. Signing Carr is actually a good move for the Panther. Carr actually showed some brilliance, and obivously did better than Delhomme last seaon. As long as there is a good OL to keep him protected. He cna surely deliever the ball to Steve Smith, which is what they need to do the most in offense.

Man I hate the Houstan Texans so much. Last season, they said the reason they didn't draft Vince Young was because they had a quarter back in David Carr. Now they have released him and signed some guy I never heard off.

Should've drafted Vince or Reggie Bush.

Doesn't matter how real he is. He's still playing behind the Texans O-line.

Horrible. Seemed like they would only have 1 or 2 good plays every possession. Every defense was getting to Delhomme and it seemed like everytime Delhomme got hit he fumbled the ball.

Also, the Panthers are too stubborn to sign an LB. They've got Dan Morgan who has chronic concussion problems. I guarantee you, because its been like this for the past 3 years, Morgan will re-injure himself either during pre-season or in the first 3 weeks of the season and have to sit out the entire year....again.

at age 27 how much of a future are you expecting??? he will compete with jake and jake will have a short leash... i dont agree with many people that said they shouldnt have drafted the lineman... VY was'nt valued that high in the draft and bush wanted too much money than they wanted to spend... i didnt have a problem with that.... its easy to spend money that isnt ours...
they could have gotten something for carr though at least a draft pick...
last season carolina o line wasnt much... im suprised he didnt entertain the browns more even though they have a bad o line it was for a starting job...

Carr probably didn't bother with the Browns because they're drooling over the opportunity to get either JiMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn

David Carr sucks and to the Panthers fans, have fun booing.

Oh yeah, Matt Shaub is the real deal thats why we will be 8-8 next year, when we draft Ted Ginn Jr opposite Andre Johnson.
