I am not a fan of the contract. He is well overpaid. From what I recall, he isn't even a good rebounder for his position as it is. Not the bonafide scorer either. Can guard and hold up well on defence, but that's about it. 10 million a year for a player also coming out of injury is also very qustionable.
Denver also may be close to keeping a third player in the fold. Fegan represents power forward Reggie Evans, a restricted free agent whose name already has been linked to several teams around the league.
Also good news for Denver. It sucks for me. I was hoping the Sixers would go after him.
That's a lot of money for a guy who torn his knee up last year and has not proven anything yet. He has not proven how he will play after the surgery. His career stats prior to last year don't warrant this type of contract.
He should not be getting anything more than 2 years at $5mil per year until he proves he is worthy of something higher.
Even with the salary cap teams make some absolutely stupid signings.
