Hm not sure if you're into international movies. But Pan's Labyrinth is nice. Not really horror. A litttle bit. You'd almost say it's a fairy tale but there's quite some explicit scenes in there. By Guillermo del Toro.

I liked 'The Others'. Nice vibe.

Los Sin nombre is probably one of the scariest movies I've seen. The Nameless is the English title. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0222368/

Official site: http://movies.filmax.com/lossinnombre/

Maybe not easy to find but nevertheless very nice.

Ive seen the others, and i quite enjoyed it. I wouldnt rate it among my favourites but it was good nevertheless. I like the look of this Nameless movie, sounds like it has a nice plot. Is it in english or is it subtitled? I dont really mind subtitles but i prefer not having them. City of God is my favourite movie ever and that had subtitles.

Irreversible also sounds pretty nice. I will check these two out if i can find them anywhere.

The fact that you actually had to say "(Tay P and Tony Farker)" very clearly indicates that this joke isnt funny, had no potential to be funny, and never will be funny.

The Others has subtitles. It's Spanish, but I've watched it with either English or Dutch subtitles. I don't remember. Cidade de Deus is great. Check for the series too.

You probably saw Dawn of the Dead(the new one) and The Ring, but if you haven't, those are two must sees. Silent Hill is pretty good too.

The Shining

Session 9. If you liked The Shining, you will probably like this movie but don't google it. If you find out what's going on the whole time, the movie will be ruined.

Blair Witch Project(very scary)

The Evil Dead(funny and scary)

Natural Born Killers(more f'd up than true horror)

Dusk Til Dawn(action/horror) I love this movie. I don't know why, I hate George Clooney.

That's a great list, especially A Clockwork Orange, it's not scary but really creeps you out. Although I enjoyed it immensely, Hostel for me isn't really a "horror" movie. It is head and shoulders above the Texas Chainsaw remakes though. These porn-torture-murder movies are not horror, horror movies are supposed to scare us, not gross us out.

Like 24/7 above me said, check out the 2004 Dawn of the Dead. It is amazing. The first 5 minutes before the opening credits is one of my favorite movie sequences ever. I would also check out The Descent and Jacob's Ladder. Jacob's Ladder can really get under your skin, I highly reccomend it.

I've always been a fan of the Exorcist movies. Without question, the original is the pinnacle of the series, and one could argue thereafter (The Exorcist II & III) were mediocre at best. The original Exorcist is probably renowned as the single most terrifying horror film ever. I'm not saying diehard horror film fans would agree, that's just the common perception. If you haven't seen it, you must see it!

I'm also a huge fan of Exorcist The Beginning. This came out a couple of years ago, and I wasn't really expecting a knockout, but I was damn impressed with this movie. My girlfriend hated it on multiple levels, but I loved it. In fact, I just watched The Beginning and Dominon The Prequel to the Exorcist this weekend!

I loved the storyline in The Beginning. To me, just very well written. Great character selection and acting as well in the film. One of the most underrated horror movies IMO.

I like many other horror films and series as well. Nightmare on Elm Street (almost all of them) was classic on so many levels. I enjoyed Friday the 13th also, but after V (The New Beginning I believe?) the series took a turn for the worst. Halloween I & II were good. Halloween III was very underrated. It was just so... different.

Anyone seen Exorcism of Emily Rose? Based on a true story. I don't get scared, but this one seemed so real, it really did spook me out for awhile. I still cringe when I wake up in the middle of the night and see 3:33 or 4:44 on my alarm clock. One night, I was so scared I pissed in the bed, because I was afraid to go to the bathroom!
