Since news of the Mike James trade came out I've been thinking.
I'd like to trade Luther Head to the Knicks for the #23 pick.
With the #23 pick I'd like to select Josh McRoberts from Duke to bolster our PF rotation.
With the #26 pick I'd like to select Alando Tucker from Wisconsin. He could compliment McGrady, Wells and Snyder perfectly on the perimeter.
PG - James/Spanoulis/Lucas
SG - McGrady/Tucker/Snyder
SF - Battier/Wells/Novak
PF - McRoberts/Hayes
C - Yao/Dikembe Mutombo
That lineup looks AWESOME to me!
(I posted the Acie Law thread BEFORE the Mike James trade was announced, so that's obviously not needed anymore.)
Our line-ups not gonna look like that by next season. Since we're going straight to offense, we're adding perimeter big men to the line-up and adjust T-Mac to the 3.
PG - Mike James/V-Span/Rafer
SG - Bonzi Wells/Luther Head/Kirk Snyder
SF - Tracy McGrady/Kirk Snyder/Morris Almond(26th pick)
PF - Chris Wilcox/Chuck Hayes
C - Yao Ming/Big Jake/Deke

Rafer as a third stringer? Hell naw.
PG- Rafer Alston/Mike James/V-Span
SG- Tracy McGrady/Luther Head/Kirk Snyder

PF- Sean Williams (26th pick)/Chuck Hayes

You've actually like what Rafer brings to our team?
Your judging Mike on his season this year, with the Wolves.
Look at the past, with Toronto. The guy got the right minutes needed and dropped the 20-bomb. Rafer's too overrated from you guys. Plus, he'll likely be gone before the 07-08 season starts.

and plus he said he wants to trade rafer, now he wants to start him??

So you want to draft a player at #26 and bury him on the bench? Why in the world would we do that? How would that make us better? We're not going to trade Battier for Chris Wilcox (a player who's done nothing since he's been in the league). Youth and athleticism at PF is what this team needs the most. I think they'll look to draft that guy in about 2 weeks.

26th pick Rookies would give us a boost? I think otherwise considering Novaks time on the bench.

That made me throw it my mouth a bit, but i'm alright.
Sure, he hasn't proved anything in his career(hoping your discluding his seasons with Seattle) with the Clippers, but has shown some touches with the Sonics. He seems liike the right guy, a guy who can delinquantly lift the game up with his inside game. He can finish off put-backs, alley-oops, etc. Just a dedicated, athletic PF.

Youth and Athleticism? That doesn't fit Chris Wilcox? Wow, dude. You got issues.

Josh McRoberts
Ali Traore
You think Roberts would further much help us. More help than Wilcox? Hasn't made me "get off my seat" as of yet. Don't know this Ali dude, show me a game highlight, then i'll think about it.
2 guys that come to mind.[/quote]
