Default What position will Grant Hill Played in season 2008?

hey guys, I am a massive SUNS fan down under in here Australia, and heard the the news Grant Hill will play for Phoenix next season.

Any people have ideas what position will he play?

I'd like to see this starting lineup if STAT or Matrix don't get traded?

PG - Steve Nash
SG - Raja Bell
SF - Grant Hill
PF - Shawn Marion
C - Amare Stoudemire

What do you reckon guys?

yeah i think thats what everyone had planned on happenin, Hill playin interchangeably with marion in postions on O and D, to be honest i was a lil worried cuz i figured hed turn out to be another jalen rose and not get any playing time (which i still think rose should) but i believe grant will get some quality minutes and hes definitely a good vet and a good distributor, and if his body stays injury free its gonna be another damn good season, and with boris and leandro and kurt comin off the bench for some solid minutes things are gonna be lookin bright

I figure he will play a lot of point guard this year, i know it might sound a little funny. Dantoni doesnt trust anyone really to run the point , and he goes into an entire different offense when nash is on the bench. I think grant hill can un the offense well when nash is on the bench.

I was just writing the same thing. Hopefully he doesn't get buried deep in the rotation. The Suns really don't need no KG anymore, just get solid backup PG and roll with it. Grant was a good adition. And get Jalen more time on the floor!

I totally agree with you Finn that we don't need KG anymore because Stat will explode yet again this year... All they need is a backup rotating guard and Grant Hill can run that.... Maybe more bench production but other than that... we have another shot at the title!!!!!!!!!

Jalen is not on the team anymore, and will not be re-signed.

Hi Rab...

:)

anyway...i think the key to winning the title or becoming a slightly bigger threat this coming season is Amare. he did fine last season and was a total beast most of the time but i want to see him grow into someone that can bother TD a little more...the key to beating the spurs is keeping Duncan in check and not making young mistakes that lead to stupid suspensions in the end...i think the Spurs are only thing standing between the Suns and the finals this coming season.

If we can get Amare to a higher, more aggressive level, run and gun style will prevail and we can shut history up...

All Jalen wants is a title and if he wants to win that title in Phoenix he will have to take a major pay cut. Easy as that.

im gonna do the Finley/Jalen/Hill thread in the main forum! : : :

Hill's a great addition... he and C-Webb are great fits for the Suns as Point-Fowards... and i feel Hill was the better choice... my Phoenix off-season resolutions are quite done... only KG left to go!!!

DO IT PHOENIX!!!
